Re: Nic on Fifth - (290' - 26 Stories)

Laramar is still working on hiring the property manager. The leasing office will be opening immediately after this is done, as the property manager will also be over-seeing the lease-up (i have an acquaintance that is a finalist).

Re: Olive Garden/Chili's site apartment project - St. Louis

Even if she had her way, who in their right mind would want to build a SFD here? Perhaps, her train of thought should be: Build multi-family housing, presumably geared towards the young/middle-aged higher income working class They will fall in love with the greater St Louis Park community They...

Re: Nicollet Mall

God. The comments on the Star Tribune story are almost exclusively either: • What, they couldn't find a local firm to do this? • If any state money goes to this project I will be mad! It's almost like it's organized. Sometimes I think it might be. Anyway, the guy who won was on MPR earlier today an...

Re: Nicollet-Central Corridor

If you want to close Nicollet to through-traffic, just plop a huge building, say a store of some kind, right in the middle of the road and force all traffic to detour around it.

Re: Vikings Stadium

To clarify, the ceremonial groundbreaking would occur in October, with work starting on areas not directly attached to the current stadium.

Actual demo of the dome would occur immediately after the last home game (hopefully the NFC Championship) in late January.

Re: Vikings Stadium

Yea, October. With demo beginning literally the day after the last home game per Lester Bagwell.

They still haven't stated whether it will be imploded or pieced apart.

Hopefully, there is some sort of set back for the party deck railing. If not, then there may be a few drinks spilled on the restaurant patrons directly below.

Re: Paragon Outlets - Eagan

Two things on this one:

At least they are designing the layout correctly. Whoever designed the layout of the west half of the Albertville Outlet wasn't very bright.

Timberland better open up a factory store here!

Hopefully they have more than just renderings on cardboard. I expect a 3-D model and perhaps a interactive video or two.

I'm giddy! Sharp angles, lots of glass, and green space in the plaza and around the stadium are my only outside requests.
