Speaking of bus bulbs, when are they going to fix the Nightmare on S 12th St right outside the Convention Center ? There is SO MUCH sidewalk to work with here. I hate that I'm constantly zooming by buses trying pull back into traffic :shock: or getting cut off while they try to get to the curb :o . ...

Interestingly, even in the Minneapolis 2040 Draft plans, where 15-story zoning is one block to the West, this particular corner is only Corridor 4 (4 story max).

Then we'll have some pretty cool urban tunnels to explore! Turn them into an underground rave destination. But people will have to Lyft or take the L to get there...

I'm glad to see the vintage brown brick apartment stays! It provides a good break between the two monoliths. It's owned by a separate developer, and one article says it won't be demolished. Perhaps it's protected? They certainly won't get as much sun as they're used to today. https://finance-commerc...

I just biked by it on the Greenway tonight. They have a small backhoe down in the trench. The little buildings are halfway demolished (the top halves!). The gap in the middle of the retaining wall, which used to be vegetation and the basement of a building, is now a dirt incline up into the parking ...
