/shudderIf you support this project for the skyline/tall building aspect, will you still support it if they want to build a blocky Hilton-style hotel?

Re: The Interchange (At Target Field)
730Is this taken from the 720 building? I wonder if those residences are going to be upset with the taller developments moving west of 394?

Re: 4Marq - (400 Marquette Avenue)
Assuming that financing is in place, does anyone have an idea of how long the city approval process and other procedural stuff typically takes before shovels can start hitting ground?

Re: Vikings Stadium
If it does end up being a design with a roof made of glass, does anyone know how they would/could keep it clean? And for the snow would they have it heated?

Re: Vikings Stadium
What I was referring to was the comment about intimidating other teams with a stadium design. This isn't high school or college football and the game is played inside the stadium! It's okay to have an opinion people.

Re: Vikings Stadium
Please, please, please let the stadium be a more traditional design. I feel this is more intimidating to visiting teams, rather than some abstract, new age design that Minneapolis seems to be known for. It seems ridiculous to spend millions of dollars on something that will look more like we are in...

Re: 4Marq - (400 Marquette Avenue)
It seems like Mortenson is just one-upping Opus here. "Oh you are making a high-rise apartment downtown? We will make one right next to it except taller, sleeker and won't take nearly as long making it a reality". Love this. I hope this is one-upping and that it becomes a trend in this ci...

Re: Mortenson Apartment Tower - (400 Marquette Avenue)
Love the external skeleton, but think it would be even more impressive if the external skeleton was a different color than white, maybe red or gold. I'm nitpicking though, it looks great.

Re: 800 Washington Ave S - Vacant Site attached to Guthrie R
Lame. Sounds like the city is acting like any other parking lot owner in DTE and is just waiting to cash in on the supposed stadium development explosion that may or may not ever happen.

Re: 400 Marquette Avenue
I want renderings!!!!!! This and a tower or two on one of the surface lots by the library would do wonders in filling the skyline gap between the fifth street towers and the Carlisle!
