I suppose it depends on the final quality, etc, but the rendering just looks like a flat surface with metal panels.

Re: Bicycle Infrastructure
not enough posts. I wouldn't call it a protected bike lane tbh. I've encountered cars parked/standing in it multiple times.Has anyone ridden down/up Third Avenue downtown now that the majority of the street has been repainted?

It's a public safety problem to leave your car parked in a driveway. http://blogs.mprnews.org/newscut/2016/08/cars-parked-in-driveway-are-public-safety-hazard-mn-court-says/ thats ridiculous. does that mean that if i report the used car dealer across the alley that they have to build a fence to hid...

Re: Road Crime
Last Saturday morning at 2am someone drove their car onto the LRT tracks just west of SPUD. The got wedged in the interlocking units. After they hoisted the car out of there they had to check over all infrastructure before letting the train leave. No biggie since it was 2am, but essentially the tra...

Re: Litmus test for whether you're a terrible person or not
My favorite are the people who take advantage of the fact that the person with the green light is waiting to enter the intersection until space is available, by turning right on red into the space as soon as it opens up. Or even worse is when someone in an adjacent lane blocks the intersection, the...

Re: Litmus test for whether you're a terrible person or not
I NEVER block an intersection, but I have been known to be a dick by driving in front of intersection-blockers once my light turns green, to avoid letting them pull forward and block me further.

Re: Theater Garage Marquee Apartments - (Franklin & Lyndale)
I wish the balcony walls were a darker color on the corner (perhaps the same red as elsewhere on the project) to emphasize the weirdly shaped facade in front of the balconies, but overall not too bad... so glad the NIMBYs didn't kill it!!
