It's a real bummer no one is holding Ryan's feet to the fire on this project. The Vikings stadium is going to be iconic in design, and getting close to half-way finished and there are still no details on what is going up here.

I've worked in the Normandale Office Park area in the 8300 Tower for almost 11 years now, and the growth has been amazing. There are still 3 spots of open land here that could be developed (taking out this plot for the new hotel), and it's just a shame that a hotel with no character is going in here...

I know there are always things going on the general public doesn't know about - but this project seems to be dragging it's feet a bit. Couldn't agree more that whether it is condos or apartments that it will do well.

With the Superior Plating Site looking like it's moving forward - I wonder if there is pressure to get this project off the ground?!

Sounds like they have until 1/7/15 to purchase the land if I'm not mistaken - we'll see if/when that happens and if it is before that. Would be interesting to know how soon anything might happen given the contaminated land.
