Metro Transit I know is focusing on directing people to Park and Rides that are open, and suggesting alternative services for routes that are suspended.

My opinion on it is if you are already driving to a Park and Ride, you can drive an additional mile or two to a different one.

What determines if a project needs municipal consent or not? State Law, and the law only requires LRT projects currently. Wouldn't be surprised to see that change this session. As a downtown resident, this pleases me. Especially since it debunks all these suburbanites claims that no one wants to live here!

Well the only station in Eagan is Cedar Grove Station, and the development near that is good in my opinion. Apple Valley are the ones that need to light a fire under their butts about up zoning. Also, the Red Line doesn't really need bus lanes imho, it has the shoulder which works fine.

Red Line won’t be going anywhere….. Metro Transit just bought new buses for the line and is working on installing Go To Readers to align payment structure with the rest of BRT.
