Re: Road Geek Topics
A off topic, but are pavers a nuisance to maintain? I like the look, but I'm thinking about doing my driveway in concrete just for the ease of maintenance. I know the ones at the rail stations and places always look good, but there's an army of people tramping over them, and people paid to maintain...

I have no firm date but by guess is most likely June. Just because the construction is almost done. There is there is still a lot of testing to be done.

Re: Midtown Corridor
Have they considered gauntlet track rather than single track? Signaling would be required to prevent intrusion, but it would be much less complicated than switching. Here is a great example of light rail systems using interlaced (gauntlet) and bi-directional single track. jOTnmci9dJA https://encryp...

Re: Mall of America - Bloomington
In my opinion it is a pipe dreamIs there even the slightest hope of the LRT and transit center being moved to closer to the new center of the mall? Or is that just a pipe dream, as I suspect?

Re: Green Line (Central)
Again, maybe I'm being obtuse on this, but what in the world is the reason for doing this? Besides, of course, eliminating a very high demand bus stop in the heart of campus and generating potential conflicts between buses and LRT vehicles? Oh, and making it more difficult to transfer from bus to L...

Buses will not go over 15 MPHI hope everyone is just being cautious to start out with, since that doesn't seem like a very fast pace. They'll probably have to always go slowly past the platform edge at the East Bank station, though.
