I biked by this place this morning - they have removed all the window coverings - what a beautiful space they have created here - wow! Looks great with the huge windows.

Well factor in property taxes, maintenance costs for the house - then add in the convenience of renting - everybody's situation is different but sometimes that little extra is worth it to them.

The lobby photo has lots of windows that look out onto the one house while the house on the east side has residences that look out on to it - given the angle this view is from the house on the east side isn't necessary and is set back enough I suppose that it would add nothing to this rendering.

$1120 to $2095 a month rent - images of the place look beautiful.

I think alot of people who were so opposed to this building will be ashamed of themselves when this is done - or maybe not - haha.

Nice to see some bricks out front - they are very close to finishing the 6th and 7th floor on the west side of the building. I agree - at least it has some character and is not that usual pre-fab concrete in a salmon color - They also moved a little trailer into the parking lot of the Episcopal building across the street - I'm assuming they are going to use this as a leasing office. I'm not sure how it can be considered an unnecessary square-foot grab when that plot of land was already owned by the developer and was part of that entire plot of land so they are just utilizing it what's the big deal? Since the developer owned that little piece of land with the rest of the surface...

I think your comment about the park being a pad for the transformer is a bit hasty - considering it isn't even near completion yet - and no one has really seen any renderings of what the final area will look like. As far as the house being overcrowded - it may be - but I'm not terrible worried about...

I think you are being overly sensative - I don't get that message at all from that statement - I know many people who have rented for years, decades even - when they have the financial ability to buy - but they choose to rent - go figure.

Found this brochure online describing this property - I'm a little surprised they don't have any renderings of the units yet - the Loring Park Office building is pretty much at the same point as the interior construction and they've published several renderings so far. I really like the description ...
