I don't think MN United FC are that oppposed to the east side of the metro. They are partnering with Woodbury to use the Bielenberg Sports Center as their training facility after all.

I talked to several century link folks 're: their rollout. The Fiber will be coming down the poles just above their current copper bundles. Connections to homes will be mostly aerial.
