There is a winter farmers market in the atrium of Capella Tower today until 2. Not a ton of stuff but fun to walk through .

So, probably not the right place to put this, but it looked as if the barber shop that was in one of these retail spaces has vacated when I rode by on the bus yesterday.

3rd Chipotle really, I mean the other two are about equidistant from this place. I would love to see another D'amico & Sons a la the Hennepin Ave location, something where you COULD get it to go or sit down. We're also lacking a good diner in the LynLake neighborhood, I'd love to see that too.

I've got you beat twincitizen... I drove from Lime (29th/Lyndale) to Floyd's 99 Barbershop and circled the block twice before picking a parking spot. Also, in my defense... A. I was getting my hair cut and didn't want to freeze my poor little scalp afterwards. B. It was 8:30pm and they closed at 9pm.

Wasn't there supposed to be a speak easy opening in the Calhoun Office Building at LynLake? Has anyone heard more about that? I'm also a bit sad none of the bakeries in uptown seem to be able to make it besides the ones in the grocery stores.

Some sort of surveying going on in City Center between the escalator to 3rd floor and the southern escalators from 1st to 2nd. Anyone know why they would need to do a survey of that space? Doesn't seem like much if any work would be going on there for the upcoming additions.

Yes, but I believe I read somewhere (can't confirm this, sorry) that they are in negotiation with someone to lease that space.

That yoga place is open now. There's no sign of the restaurant that was supposed to open in the space facing central, though. I get the impression it's either severely delayed or dead and no one bothered saying so. Also, I know a lot of people didn't care much for this building but it's pretty nice...
