Mayo announced plans to build a new 4 story research building downtown after a $32 million donation from the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen foundation. Groundbreaking is expected in 2020. Groundbreaking took place on April 11th for the Civic on First hotel. The Bloom towers won over final approval last night from the city council. The south tower is expected to see construction this coming spring with the taller north tower to break ground 18 months later. The south tower is now 20 stories instead of 21 and the city is still working on selling the land...

The start of construction was just announced by Titan and Opus for their Urban on First project in downtown. They expect to finish in August of 2019.
