Re: 113 East 26th Street
I was going by on the bus the other day and saw someone putting up CPM signs on the fence, but when I went by today I swear they were gone. WTH? Anyone know if this thing is started?

Re: Mall of America - Bloomington
It's a touristy restaurant for a touristy destination. I can see why they did it, even if I personally have no interest in it. It makes more sense than a restaurant based around Forrest Gump, anyway, yet somehow that place endures. People think Bubba Gump is based on Forest gump when they are not r...

The podium base is lit? Isn't it? I seem to remember some complaining about it being too bright at one pointIt'd be nice if Magellan could give an explanation for the no back-lighting on this tower and podium base.

Does anyone have a guess on what price point might be on these market rate units? This is a project I've always loved, would be amazing to move there next year when it opens.

Re: Carlson Island Apartments - Minnetonka
Is this off the ground? A friend of mine who works in Carlson plaza just posted a picture of something on his desk and I could see a building in the background on the island. I'm surprised no one has posted anything.

Yes, Sexton is able to purchase parking at a reduced rate due to their time without parking. Heard from someone who owns a condo there.

Re: CPM Cheapo Site proposal - 1300 West Lake St
Here's what I would really like to know. The buildings that I see going up in Chicago all seem to be brick and fit in really well with the historical charm of the neighborhood. Why is it that developers here can only find it in themselves to use cheap cement board? Before I left lime I was laying at...

Why not noodles? I LOVE noodles, and i actually think it brings something quick/casual/nice all in one. Sure it's like super chain-ey but I think it's a step up from McD's and Arby's.

Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
I love the mini canyon effect we're getting along this stretch of Lake and Lagoon. I'd love to see the Calhoun Square empty lot be 8-12 stories and a signature Uptown tower on the Arby's lot and the rest can be filled with these 4-6 story buildings we've been seeing lately. I think that would really...

I can say that on my team at Capella we are all mostly 20-30 somethings and I think I'm actually one of 3 or 4 who live in the city and the rest are all in the suburbs. There are 30 of us.

What are the odds this VERY sad Hennepin Avenue Farmer's Market is going to get any better? I know it's early in the season, but I've seen, what, maybe 3 stands when I come in on the bus and they all seem to be on different blocks.

This will be horrible I sincerely hope it fails. Me: There are 4 20-40 story proposals in this neighborhood right now. This w...

Has anyone ever been to Grumpy's patio on Washington? I can't imagine it would be much worse than that.
