Re: Uptown Restaurant News
Falafel King will close in September. The restaurant owner is selling the building too. http://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/news/2014/06/13/falafel-king-owner-sells-lyn-lake-building-plans.html This makes me really, really happy. I'm beyond tired of looking at the peeling paint and ZERO people ev...

Re: Green Line (Central Corridor LRT)
I don't remember ever hearing this: Is there an announcement on the Blue Line trains when traveling north and arriving at Downtown East/Metrodome station that this is the stop to transfer to a Green Line car if you want to go to St Paul?

Re: Zip Rail to Rochester
Perhaps, putting the terminal for this at/right near MOA is what it would finally take for the Blue Line to move the MOA station out of it's current dungeon.

Under Armour, sweetness!
Also, this layout is very similar to the greater Pittsburgh outlet in Washington, PA. It is much more shopper-friendly. Especially with the canopies to cover the sidewalks during inclement weather.

The important question is "what is going to happen to Sid's statue"?

Too many straight lines. It wouldn't kill them to add some curves or arches.

I'd just be happy if companies/organizations adopted segments of a line just to do trash cleanup.

It is smart business on his end. You can't blame him for that.
And the people that hate him will continue to hate him, regardless of this "shrewd" business move or not.

Does the Holiday closing early have anything to do with the removal of the underground storage tanks? I have no idea how long it takes to have those removed and have soil contamination cleaned up (if any).

I am addicted to SC4. i have spent hours and hours building my plugins folder with the various Mod's and addon's. I was excited as ever about the new one that came out last year, following all of the posts over at Simtropolis up until the release. Those hardcore players were pissed, and rightfully s...

Re: Greystar West Lake Apartments - 2626 Lake Street W
If the proposed land bridge from Lake Of The Isles to Lake Calhoun ever becomes a reality, the land owners of this site will kick themselves for not having retail. It would be a great place for a patio bar/restaurant to rival The Eatery next door. There is a need for a quality restaurant with a vie...

Re: Mall of America - Bloomington
I don't share the hatred that a lot of people seem to have for skyways, but if pedestrians have to go up a level and then down a level right away rather than feeding into the second story of the mall and hotel it sounds like a dumb design to me. Even though I live a few miles away it's been over a ...
