Re: West End / Central Park West Development - St. Louis Park
Anyone know what's going in on the southwest corner of West End? Some banners said something about an arcade, gasthaus, and craft beers.

Re: MN Highway 100
The Hwy 100 lane reduction is supposed to last into "mid-November". We'll see!
I'm excited for traffic to return to normal... at least until January.

Re: PLACE Proposal / Wooddale Station area - St. Louis Park
With the outlook for SWLRT not looking clear, this has to change the scope of the PLACE development. All of the traffic plans for PLACE have dependency on SWLRT-Woodale intersection improvements being made. I don't know how much breath-holding is going on, but I wonder how this could change the site...

Re: Bicycle Infrastructure
Just wondering if anyone else has ever thought the illegal rail crossing at Hwy 100 on the Cedar Lake Trail needs a legal and safe way to cross. https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9620828,-93.3445264,615m/data=!3m1!1e3 They put up some new fencing along the tracks, but it's still easily crossed. The &q...

Re: Bicycle design and innovations
I have full fenders on most of my bikes and hang them from their front wheel in my garage, much like they hang in the trains. I've never had an issue with the fender being bent or whatnot. My fenders are plastic (poly-somethingsomething) with aluminum cores. They can be twisted into all sorts of sha...

Re: MN Highway 100
Incidentally, the Marathon station kitty-corner was completely unprepared for the Holiday to close, and their shelves have been picked almost clean. That Marathon station has never been stocked and looked like it was about to close at any time in the last five years. Hopefully they stock up and cle...

Holiday Gas Station - 100 and Minnetonka Blvd
Does anyone know why the Holiday gas station at Highway 100 and Minnetonka closed? That place was always busy, and now were just left with that shady Marathon gas station across the street. I'm guessing it might be related to the Hwy 100 project, but I don't remember seeing that as part of it.
