I think the construction up to now is just for the new Lakewinds Co-Op. The apartments are in the far northwest corner of the site. This building will have a very significant presence at this intersection.

The larger curved structure at the southeast corner of Otto Ave & Victoria Way has been under construction since May, and most of the framing is now complete. Excavation on a second structure at the southeast corner of Otto Ave & Mercer St began last month.

Foundation work started on this project last week.

I'm pretty optimistic on good design coming from Perkins & Will.
