I would agree with your idea. Now that 35w exists we don't need these pre-highway arteries as much as we did back then. They can each afford to lose a lane for the sake of safe cycling.

it's only going to be 35 feet high. my guess it is so cheap because the neighbors have dumbed this one down into basically just a large house

they have moved the nice ride bike station from next to Burch pharmacy to across the street by the dry cleaners. would this have to do with rennovations to the building?

do they actually have a viable business plan for the other 355 days of the year????

Westgate needs to be razed and redeveloped.

all we can do is hope phase 2 (the long-awaited uptown hotel, perhaps?) will be beautiful enough for both buildings, and I also hope that it will tower over this ugly parking ramp.

wow, what a fantasy! unfortunalty I can only see this hypothetical urban lake lake getting super nasty from all the runoff (everything in those neighborhoods is concrete) and litter

wow. what a complete disregard for doing anything that makes sense... rerouting public transportation away from the area of the city that uses it the most? What are these guys smoking? Bath salts?

so with the June 15th start date does that mean that they will start destroying Peavey Plaza on that date, too?
