As long as Rochester expands it's employment base Rochester will continue to sprawl. From Zumbrota and Pine Island myself growing up and a lot has changed in my 50 odd years. Zumbrota has nearly doubled in population since 1977.

Atlanta was selected by the USOC over bids from Nashville, San Francisco and runner-up Minneapolis to be the U.S. representative in international bidding.

If not for some bribes made by Atlanta officials I think Minnesota would have had it.

The Cheapo site could certainly offer a taller building as well. Who knows maybe Cheapo would even want to stay at the location.
