Any news on when streets being missed in Northrop will be covered? Bloomington Ave looks lonely.

Re: 360 Nicollet - (Opus Ritz block)

Because, "360". As in °.

Not like 360 is being used on the other side, ;)
That'll be great when peopling living at "360 Nicollet Mall" have an address of 365 Nicollet Mall.

Re: 360 Nicollet - (Opus Ritz block)

It's odd that the project name in the COW documents uses the number 360. Even-numbered addresses are on the opposite side of Nicollet.

Re: Central Park West (at West End) - St. Louis Park

I remember reading about a similar situation that took place several decades ago involving Bloomington & Edina. If you look at city boundary maps you'll notice a notch north from Bloomington into Edina just west of Highway 100. This is where the Doubletree, originally Radisson, stands. When buil...

Re: Greystar West Lake Apartments - 2626 Lake Street W

I still not sure what's going on, but they're digging and driving round piles and sheet piles. Still related to last year's sewer work? http://www.landergroup.com/cur_2626.html That webpage is from Lander Group's project of several years ago. Why they haven't put that webpage to bed is a mystery. I...

Re: Downtown East Project (Ryan Companies / Wells Fargo)

Those residential buildings in front of the towers facing the park will be quite shallow. If that's a door to the skyway, I'm guessing there will be one vertical transportation core and one long corridor along the concrete wall to access all units. Another less likely option could be multiple vertic...

Re: Nye's Polonaise Room - 100 block of E Hennepin Avenue

Have there ever been any towers constructed in the US which have both rental apartments and condos in the same building? I have worked with condos in the entire country, and cannot recall ever coming across a new construction tower with both in the same tower. Have had two towers in one development...

That's asinine. I lived in the building across from the WA Frost lot for 2 years and never did I have to park more than one block from home...on the street.

While Minneapolis is 4th in the metro, it is 5th in the state. One outstate city, Worthington, is only 48.9% white non-Hispanic.

This rehab and new construction project is finally underway at the southeast corner of Ashland Ave & Mackubin St in Cathedral Hill. It renovates the Ashland Hotel (built 1896) and replaces the 1960's-era addition that was once the St. Paul's Church Home. Stonebridge Construction has posted some ...
