The Fremont lasted due to there food and drink deals.
If you give people a reason to go like good food, cheap food and drinks ect they will come. Glad to see the spaces wont sit empty for long.

When the city gave John Buck Co. rights to the site it was also stated they would work with the city for the next 18 months on design plans and an agreement could be executed six months after that. That would mean we should get plans in the next few weeks in theory unless something has changed that ...

H and M agreed to close due to the up coming redevelopment. Sounds like it was a mutual choice by the landlord and H and M. I think its safe to assume they will be re doing the space.

Re: Minneapolis Population / Density - General Discussion

If development is slowing its more due to the fed raising/expected rates, inflation and a cooling economy. Minneapolis has a happy medium for rent prices. There is a steady stream of new developments big and small being proposed. There have been a number of companies to claim they are done developin...

Seven points seems to have a better understanding of how to lease space then the previous owner as they have had a number of new small tenants come in. If they can start construction this year it will drastically help. Someone chopped up with north face space and it’s fully leased now after years of...

The Freemont and Hammer and Sickle have closed. Both spaces are up for rent online. I have also heard that H and M might be closing this week but unconfirmed. Chino Latino is selling all of the items in there former space. Not sure if this means something new is moving into that space https://bringm...

Sounds like the Loring park speed way will be closing at 101 grant. Not sure anything is planned for this site currently. Given that the strip mall will still be around what can/should be done with this site.

I agree keeping the 21st St station more or less the same (just with more triplex's) is a good thing. People want to come to the lakes area as each lake is different in terms of people and energy and having this is a good balance to the lake st station. Re zoning north of 394 will be needed at some ...
