Re: Target Field / Station and United Properties hotel development
I didn't think United Properties did "creative". They ignore both function and form and go for bland and inexpensive. I fully expect gray and looking like it belongs in a suburb.

Re: 695 and 699 Lowry Avenue
For at least 5 years there has been a sign on the building showing a redevelopment plan. It would be great to see something built here. There is an apartment building being built just behind the building and another lot on the block directly south that would be nice to se something built on as well....

Re: Minneapolis Skyway System
So if we disagree we're conditioned? There are plenty of cities around the country with no skyway system and downtowns that are desolate. San Antonio's riverwalk is a unique feature compared to other cities, why not try to make the skyways a more positive experience by creating more open areas with ...

Good for him. At least I know where I won't run into him.
North Loop is pretty much skyway free, he should be happy there.

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market
I have a newspaper clipping of the Normandy Inn development. I believe the larger tower was 50 stories and the shorter one was 30 stories. I'll see if I can dig it up. I have to believe the hotels around this are licking their chops with this news! I would think they bring in a lot of business travel.

You're not talking a 50 story building here. The fact that the Ford building is a block away makes that argument seem like a stretch.

It was nice because you could try several craft beers without having to drive to each one. They had an awesome variety and had really good relationships with the local brewers. They have a private room insided the space that can be used for meetings or small parties. These guys had the right idea an...

Re: Black Lives Matter, The Police, etc.
Yes, I am not dead. I misunderstood the term murked. I did have 4 cops pull guns on me when I was a janitor once, but obviously still alive... I live near 3 nursing homes and several senior apartment buildings. Ambulances come and go what seems like hourly. They typically use Johnson to get on to 35...

Re: Black Lives Matter, The Police, etc.
White people don't get murked for a busted tail light. He is absolutely right about that. I actually have. Wondering if anyone else thinks the sit-in on the freeway this morning was a stupid place to block traffic. With its proximity to HCMC they're little game could quite easily become life or dea...
