Just had a glitch. Went to 'view unread posts' and it displayed two posts from last night/ this morning I'd already read.

I assume it's because things are being moved around, sometimes that does weird stuff in threads.

Since this seems like a general "issues" thread": in the transportation sub-forum, the links in the index thread seem to be broken. I get this in both Chrome and Internet explorer. https://imgur.com/a/YAMXb

Man, letting that urbanmsp domain expire seems like a really bad idea.

The problem is that any link to urbanmsp.com automatically redirected to forum.streets.mn, but that went away so now all those links are broken. Seems kind of shortsighted to drop the urbanmsp URL. How much does that domain cost each year?

I still access the forum via urbanmsp.com. It's still urbanmsp to me.

Seconded. I think streets.mn can afford to keep the domain running. I'll make a donation to that effect if we can get some confirmation

I would be willing to help pay as well. A domain goes for, what, $10 a year?

Like the main streets.mn site a few weeks ago, urbanMSP/streets.mn Forum is now delivered over HTTPS. In general, this shouldn't affect the user experience, but a few notes:

1. When embedding images, like from Imgur, use an HTTPS URL whenever possible (or the image may be blocked in certain browsers). The support for that varies from service to service -- but for imgur, it is as simple as starting the URL with "https://"

2. You might consider updating your password now that it is no longer sent in plain text.

Tapatalk has also been updated to use the new HTTPS URL.

Does this change embedding via BBCode?

That's what I mean, when you use the

Code: Select all

bbcode to directly embed an image, you should use an https URL whenever possible. As far as I know, phpBB will not automatically change anything for you. (Because the service may or may not support https.)

It's not essential, but just a nice thing to do for the security and equal performance of your fellow forum users.

Using Chrome on mobile to view the forum has been a bit buggy since I got home from work last night.

A change I've seen in Tapatalk in the past day or two is that in the list of posts the post no longer shows the username of the last poster, only the thread OP.

It seems to be everywhere. On mobile Safari and desktop Internet Explorer for me. (it's my work computer and we are locked into IE.)

Yep, there's definitely something going on with all drop-down menus being "stuck" in the expanded position.

EDIT: Are people experiencing more serious issues beyond just these glitchy menus?

Also mobile Firefox and desktop Edge.
