The already stellar view from any seat in foul territory at Target Field will continue to get even better! Such a nice place to just sit and take everything in, provided the weather is nice :)

Did pelli make the library kind of look like the dolphin staffing building?

No, his inspiration was books on a shelf.

I can definitely see why you think so. They do have a lot of similarities from a distance. Now if only the library had gotten it's planned planetarium.

That equipment has been there for almost a month. At one point someone had thrown out 10-28 as a groundbreaking, clearly that hasn't happened. I would have to believe that at least part of the parking lot will need to be closed for the construction. Wondering if there is anything on-site that may tell when that might happen?

It’s great to see the elevator cores of the Gateway project rising above ground and all the digging going on across the street at the Harlem Irving project. The worst damage of 1960’s urban renewal is finally passing away. A walk or drive down Washington towards the West Bank is astonishing and energizing.

Anyone have new images to share?

I’m really curious to see how the towers on each side of Hennepin are proceeding. I haven’t been downtown since stay at home started so my daily lunch check is missing from my routing!
