The tower crane was going up on this when I drove by yesterday. I know how much you guys love your crane counts!

They're still working on the crane here.

Another nice round of updates from my buddy's terrific vantage point. They're going to set up a time lapse for us, which could be pretty cool as this starts to rise.

I don't even think that crane will need to be raised for this...it looks like it is already at the right height for the whole building.

Both this crane and the crane from Stonebridge make quiet an impression on the 35W bridge. These two buildings will really impact the skyline from that angle, especially if this has some nice lighting up top.

So emporis lists this building as being 288 feet, but skyscraperpage lists it as being 307 feet. Anyone know which one's right?

I'm assuming the 307 is the height of the original plan.

Lopping six stories off the tower should have reduced the height by more than 19 feet.

The original plan was 365...the 288 is correct.

Bummer. Maybe the 307 one includes the crown on top?

Any idea of when a shell of this building might start to appear in the sky?

I'd say May at the earliest. They still seem to have too much foundation work that they are working on. to get any height started.

Sure looks that there will be at least one level of undergound parking. THey have the whole dug for some reason. Seems only logical. Most I believe are on 3 -5 above the second floor.

On a side note...it sure does look vacant over there with Neiman's closed...I didn't realize how much of the block that store took up. Also, I can't believe the first floor of the historic building across the street has been vacant so long! Lets hope this and the soo building attract something.
