I take that the half completed story is the last one except for the crown?
I counted 25 stories today with the half completed one, so one more floor and the crown to go!

Makes a little dent in the skyline from Dinkytown.

I can't wait to start seeing some glass go on it. It still seems so stern. I always want moar glass Downtown. :)
Some of the glass on floors 2-4 has been installed on the side that faces Nicollet.

Yikes! I sure hope the glass transforms this ugly duckling into a beautiful swan! I've been hanging around my kids too long...

You get a great view of this building heading south on the Stone Arch Bridge.

From yesterday, you can finally see the top 2-3 stories peeking above the Marquette Plaza building:

They've started pouring the supports for the rest of the podium now.

In addition, the concrete columns to support the crown ( i.e. the metal screen that will hide the mechanicals on top) have been poured. The glass elements have been slow to be attached to the facade, but I think now that its topped out the building's exterior will come together faster. The precast concrete panels are arranged with a textured pattern that should contrast well with the vertically arranged glass balconies on the corner of 5th and elsewhere. To their credit, the architects did a good job of trying not to make the building look so boxy.

I think that I counted 26 floors today when I was downtown. Looks like they are pouring the roof of the 26th floor and should be topped off by the end of this week or next. Looks like the supports for the crown are already poured and in place. Also noticed more than a few support columns for the east end of the parking structure that have been poured so far.

They are working on building out a leasing office on the skyway level of the Baker Center. They certainly don't have much of a website at present.

The opening of their office and leasing of rentals begins in January 2014, which probably means they will also upgrade the website at that time.

I noticed it's almost exactly one year since they closed the parking lot in preparation for construction (November 11th, 2012).

Actually very visible (but looking like a bit of a dud) from the Stone Arch Bridge. I think I'll be ok with 4marq blocking a lot of it from this view.

It will ( hopefully) look better when finished as the architects tried to arrange the facade materials with a strong vertical emphasis. The main problem is when they scaled back the original proposal from 33 to 26 floors, they should have broken up the massing to make it less boxy. I also agree with fotoapparatic. The more slender and taller Marq 4 should help "cover up" some of Nic on Fifth's not so good proportions.
