This new clinic should help to make it much easier to get around the clinic and save them some money with less duplication of services over it being spread out across the hospital like it is now. Should help the hospital with it's own efficiency once they get the old clinic space re-purposed and up to more modern standards.

The crane seems extremely tall for just a 6 story building, it appears to be about the same height as the Portland Tower crane.

I am wondering if they are going to be putting up a second crane that is shorter, and the height is so they don't conflict.

When they built the apartments on the greenway they always had two cranes. Both to split the work load, and so that they would not over load the crane by making it carry too heavy of items too close to the far end of the crane. I have not seen the cranes placement, is it near the outside of the clinic or what would be the center spaces of a figure 8's. With it being a nearly full block development, they really need 2 crane to work efficiently.

The other crane will go to the opposite end. Maybe offset just a little as the halfway point on that side of the block will be a bit different. The tallest crane will work the east half most of the time with the longest boom, while the other maybe an even smaller crane, in size, with the boom will be shorter on the the west end as it will not have to work as large of area with the apartment building that is staying in place making that side of the work area smaller.

I've never had a road detoured onto a sidewalk before. Weird. I'm assuming it was the combination of hospital entrance/one-way-street that led to this odd routing, rather than close the road entirely?

Hopefully I haven't missed this, but does anyone know if they will be having an open house once construction is finished? It would be really cool to get a chance to see inside this thing.
