Anecdotally, Stanton had very strong opinions about how his buildings looked. So I suspect it was him, not the architects.

Just look back to that last version of the Eclipse site, it was just a taller version of Legacy.

So this is done, right? Looks done. It seems weird to me, I don't notice it when I'm in the Mill District, but driving on I-35W it hits me in the face.

Yep, people started moving in a month or so ago, according to the guy who told the Planning Commission that approval of Eleven should be delayed so more of his neighbors could move in and whine about their views.

Legacy buyers actually have to sign a waiver when they buy, acknowledging Eleven (even before it was likely to get built) might obstruct views. But for owners who purchased in Legacy before Eleven was proposed... I can totally understand why they'd be pissed. Even if they don't have a "right" to a view, the view was a big reason why they chose the units they bought, and the units were priced with the view factored in to the sale price.

Eleven's a slender and nice-looking tower. There are worse things to be looking at. Just be glad the two buildings aren't in the reversed places.

So, my brother in law is looking at Legacy, and he is always sending me prices of units. There seem to be a ton of units still for sale. Not sure I believe that 85% are sold. Also, the ones facing Eleven seem to be pretty good deals now!
