I could have sworn I already asked this, but I guess I didn't. Did we ever see final drawings for this? Isn't the floor count and height up from the original packet a few pages back?

Can someone post the most recent planning commission documents for this development? Would like to take a look at the renderings.

Here they are - I don't think there have been any changes since this set, nearly a full year ago.

This is such a good addition to the Hennepin and Washington streetscapes. There will be a nice gateway effect for south bound Hennepin and a good continuation of the developing corridor along Washington. It has been a very long wait to see the devastation of the 1960’s urban renewal effort finally fading away.

Drove past this yesterday and there was no activity on the site. The equipment that is there is fenced in and hasn't moved since they brought it over.

Not that I'm religiously checking every day to see if permits have been pulled or anything, but the previously existing parcels, 240 Hennepin and 258 Hennepin, have disappeared from the city's property info tool and been replaced by a newly combined 250 Hennepin parcel. No permits are showing up yet, though.

If this starts up...combined with Gateway is Hennepin somehow going to get worse? Those two corners are getting crowded traffic wise.

Good find! I noticed the other parcels had disappeared, but didn't find the new one.

Great to see some action finally happening here. Given the position of this building at the edge of the higher rise core of downtown, it will be a good transition to the 519’ across Hennepin and another good addition to the Washington streetscape. No this isn’t spectacular architecture, but it is clean, interesting and serviceable and it offers more street level retail than some projects closer to the core of downtown. I hope they can fill that space well.

I think the architecture is really nice and will be a much needed change to what we've seen built over the past decade. I think it'll be a great addition to the north end of downtown!

Is the project officially called 240 Hennepin, despite being replatted so that the address is 250 Hennepin?

What building used to be on this site? Saw that there was an old building foundation when walking by yesterday.

There were buildings here more recently than that. The "lawned" areas had buildings that were demolished in the mid-2000's ahead of the proposed Eclipse project (by that time, new surface parking lots were banned). My recollection is that the Dolphin Staffing building was a nice older commercial building on the corner of Hennepin and 2nd. My memory is completely blank as to what was at the corner of Hennepin and Washington, but I don't think it was anything special.
