I'm sure that there is a Sheel's that will work for those that need sporting goods. Rochester Sheel's is probably a super store like the one in Mankato, not EP.

I believe they have a Scheel's in the Apache Mall, plus they have Dick's in Rochester as well.

I saw the new awnings for Saks off 5th on a truck outside City Center this morning. Classic black with white text. Looked good.

Oh, that's what they were for. I saw them, but was in the City Center side of the street, and didn't care enough to cross the street to look at the other side.

Well at least they will add a bit of class to that fugly face on Nicollet. Can't wait to see them up and above the windows.

Anyone know if Shorenstein sold the retail section of CC. or did they take it off the market? Have not heard much about it's status. Also, what is the vacancy rate for the retail section. I know there has been some shuffling of tenants to get the food joints close together. Seems that they have to be getting closer to full, with the exception of the skyway section that is closest to MC Squared.

Just in time for those nice, new, black awnings to be covered in construction dust from the mall reconstructions. :(

Cardigan Donuts is now a delinquent on their license. It expired on 4/1 and hasn't been renewed. Hmmm

Hope they don’t close! Not an amazing donut place, but it’s solid. And their drink selection ain’t bad either.

Always kind of looked like it was more empty than they'd like every time I walked by.

Sold!!! $320 million to a foreign investor.

Plans to renovate the Nicollet Mall side are in the works.

Both the Nicollet and Hennepin Ave sides could and should be torn down and rebuilt, six to eight floors. More glass. More uses. Residential especially is needed in this part of the city. This skirts of this building are two of the most egregious structures in the entire downtown, and they're in one of the most important locations.

Haven't the past couple owners talked about those renovations too? Or is that actually a new thing?
