Urban3’s research, data, and presentations

Postby Anondson » January 10th, 2019, 6:56 pm

Urban3 was recently asked to perform their analysis of Minneapolis’ and Hennepin County’s productive land value. Something they are becoming well known for.

Their initial presentation slide deck was published for download, which I grabbed then but can no longer locate the link.

Since then an interactive website was published. Check it out. https://urban3.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Map ... 9902dbd154

Urban3 also runs a YouTube channel where I spotted they published animated maps of sections of Minneapolis. They seem to be animated by age of the building, color coded by land value. Just kind of interesting to watch!

Their maps are very cool and informative. Love their stuff.

Of course I’m as interested in first ring suburbs as much as Mpls, and some of their maps include us. But they need to include landmarks such as rivers municipal boundaries or highways or even transit lines, and a North heading, so you know what you’re looking at. Sometimes it’s hard to tell where you are.

But overall they’re excellent.
