So, when did Lagoon get resurfaced? Seems they shifted the lines slightly to really squeeze in those three lanes for use at all times of the day instead of just a peak lane on the south side of the street.

Nadeau on the corner of 28th and Hennepin, is moving to the Galleria.

That's a disappointment. Nadeau brought lot of charm to the corner of Hennepin and 28th.

Did you ever go inside? Ridiculously overpriced painted faux antique crap.

There were a few good pieces from time to time but for the most part everything looked quite amateurish, not just in appearance but also in build quality. It amazed me how they were doing so well.

It'll be interesting to see what happens here next. There's no chance at loosing the building, is there? It's quite attractive and would be a shame to loose.

One thing I wouldn't mind seeing would be for Isles Bun & Coffee to carve out more space. As successful (and delicious) as they are, it's very difficult to walk there and sit down for breakfast due to their limited seating. I've changed my mind about walking over on a number of occasions because of this. It's an even greater issue in winter when outside seating is unavailable.

They have had that front wall removed for most of the summer. Looks like they are doing major remodel on the inside as well. Hope they get this done soon.

A temporary fence is up at the CarX site. Looks like some work will be starting soon.

What is going on at the CarX site? The Graves project is the next block to the west. I saw that fence today too, but no construction sign yet.

The seating looks terrible, like all-counter airport seating. BUT, real functional bathrooms are definitely a highlight. Let's hope for a real kitchen hood too instead of the bath fan they previously used for their fryers. It was so bad your socks reeked of grease.

It looks like they're doing foundation work. There's a 3 foot wide moat around the base of the building.
