Re: Parkway West Apartments
Oh yeah, it is up to the third floor. I drove through there two weeks ago. And it wasn't a whole in the ground, it was a raised concrete platform

Q. What, what? A. In da butt.
Re: Parkway West Apartments
those are real nice! street level entries, simple but well placed cladding, decent shape. I like!
Re: Parkway West Apartments
This is nearly done -- there's been a banner up for at least a few weeks now saying "Now leasing Feb. 2013".

Re: Parkway West Apartments
I'm guessing this was a condo project gone bust? Google streetview shows signs with the name "46th and 46th" advertising luxury condos for sale.
I can't believe it sat dormant for so long though. Love that part of town. You could have Minnehaha Falls in your backyard and eat at Sea Salt every day in the summer.

...especially since the line would practically start at 46th and 46th on a nice warm evening! But yes, good location and I hope these do well.

"Smoke-free, pet-free, green building."
Is there some type of allergic market that is not being served?

Is it just me, or is that wall rather hostile to the sidewalk? Not that big of a deal in this location as it is across from some of the best trails/parks/open space in the city, but still.

There's a bit of a drop in grade, and the intersection is ugly to begin with. If there's some space between the sidewalk and the wall to plant some ivy, I think it'll work.
