Housing, grocery eyed for Dayton's Bluff
Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal by Sam Black, Senior reporter
Date: Monday, November 19, 2012

"Multifamily developer Dominium is interested in developing an affordable housing project with a possible grocery store on a vacant site in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood near Metro State University.

The Plymouth-based housing developer responded to a request for interest from the St. Paul Housing and Redevelopment Authority that was issued in April..."

"...Dominium's preliminary plans are for between 100-150 housing units.
Mississippi Market responded to the city request for interest separately from Dominium. It is planning a neighborhood co-op grocery for the site..."

A picture of the site. This project, along with MetroState's expansion, will really add some density to this stretch of East 7th Street.
