Groundbreaking on the 26th of July.

- Town Square on the Payne Ave side
- New park facilities on the Maryland Ave side
- 2 story building will house a gym, community center, and library

Construction is expected to begin in the spring of next year and finish by mid '14. The relocation of the Kendall Hardware store took longer than anticipated due to construction difficulties (old building footings from a previous building on their new site).

This is going to be a great addition to this part of town. I live in the area (about a mile away) and it's been nice to see quite a few smaller projects go in to give this neighborhood a more cohesive feel.

Phase 1 (the rec center and library) will open on the 22nd.
