This rehab and new construction project is finally underway at the southeast corner of Ashland Ave & Mackubin St in Cathedral Hill. It renovates the Ashland Hotel (built 1896) and replaces the 1960's-era addition that was once the St. Paul's Church Home. Stonebridge Construction has posted some aerial photos of the site after demolition of the modern wings.

A redevelopment of this site into a senior co-op was proposed before the Great Recession, but never got off the ground. As a former resident of this street, getting this preserved and back into service will be a big plus.
