I guess that's what you get when you source your plans from Menards, they're always trying to throw a deck in there somewhere...

It looks like it's sitting on top of some kind of water feature? But really poor placement to make the stairs onto that deck face the parking lot and away from the entrance to the building. It looks like it could be a pleasant space to relax for a few minutes during the day or eat your lunch out there, if it weren't for being surrounded by parking on 2 sides and not really interacting with the street or building in any way.

Sheesh, I never realized that St. Paul also has a Lasalle Street. It's good that this is replacing a truck loading dock where trucks stick out into the street, though the rendering makes it look like 3/4 of the parcel is going to be parking. At least it looks like the building is going to occupy the corner

I wonder whether the little entrance sticking out of the 2300 Myrtle building and onto this property will stay or go. And it looks like this new structure will have an entrance halfway along the side facing the parking rather than anything facing Lasalle or Wabash, but it's hard to tell.

That's where the Viking ship goes. All of the cool kids are doing it.
