Probably 70+, aerial photos from 1947 show it there fully built out with its main building right near the street car station.

Thanks for that explanation. Now it makes a lot more sense as to why the city owned it and when it was of importance to the city. It was there before all the newer for profit courses were built. The fact that it was built along one of the street car lines, shows how progressive that the city was with parks and transportation back in the days before the cars and buses took over getting people places..

Minneapolis added some last minute revisions after the councils agreed on terms and a price, Edina is seriously ticked off.

Next city council meeting the city has a motion to execute a purchase agreement for St. Louis Park's roughly 1/3rd of this parcel. Purchase agreement price is to be $609,813 out of the Park Improvement Fund.

Saint Louis Park voted for the funds to buy the 1/3 in SLP, Edina council just voted for the 2/3 in Edina.
