The furthest of these, the short tower, would be less than a half mile from the West Lake Station, but that's if it were possible to walk straight down 31st St. to the trail. The Station Area Plan doesn't seem to include a way for that to happen. But I'm not the expert on this. What will be the access to the station from the Inglewood/Ewing area?

What I understood from seeing station area walk shed maps long ago, the access from the neighborhood around 31st St back here would be to walk to the narrow, behind-the-curb sidewalk along Lake Street and take the elevator/stairs down to the station. Fun safe times.

Would be interesting to know if the county will allow at-grade crossings of the railroad tracks, since as I understand it they're now the owner.
