Plans to renovate the MN Zephyr 'Depot' in Stillwater into a performing arts space. Need to raise $6.5 million.

Is that actually a historic depot? If so, that addition absolutely brutalizes the existing structure, totally out of scale and ruining the classic depot site plan.
But finding theater space was becoming difficult, especially after the recent sale of the 400-seat Music Box Theatre, where Only a Dim Image’s last show was produced, Franz Hall said.
OT: I know that we'd discussed that the Music Box was for sale, but do we know who purchased it?

Wooddale Church will be attempting to have a service there.

If anyone knows anything about Wooddale you can understand why I'm not happy about that.

NO. That building was built in 1993, and remodeled expanded around 2000. It's sort of a facsimile of the original which was further south on Water St. and Lowell Park.

I know a lot about Wooddale and I don't see any problem.

Good for you man. My mom quit her job as a pre-school teacher there due to the bigotry. I stopped going there as a high schooler because my best friend came out as gay, and the church told him to never come near the property again. There was almost a fight that broke out at my high school because the Wooddale kids were really trying hard to convert atheists on "Culture day". There's a lot of money in the church that goes directly to the elders and not to communities in need, and we're talking $100,000s not just small change. Do you want me to go on? I've got a lot of dirt.

Here we've got one of the few safe spaces in the upper Midwest for LGBTQ people, and organizations like this are infiltrating it? By all means, do share. Anything to put these hate-mongers on the defensive.
