Renters are bad. And condo owners are practically renters. Basically, anyone who's willing to settle for not having a quarter acre yard is suspicious.

This is the Cupertino syndrome. Any children except those who have already enrolled are viewed as a burden, far better to let the school district wither away gradually than accept an underutilized medical office building get replaced with market rate housing and more taxpayers.

Two new proposals will be presented to the city that have a nifty coincidence, both are next to or very close to the new Nine Mile Creek trail.

A 195-unit apartment building at 5780 Lincoln Drive. This is at 169 and Bren Rd. A long walk from the Opus LRT Station but right on the Nine Mile Creek trail. Can’t wait for the trail underpass here to get funded asap!

172 market-rate rentals and 17 for-sale townhome-style units at 4701 77th St. W. Across the street from the Pentagon Park stuff, a half block walk to Nine Mile Creek trail. Not the first time this site had a plan proposed on the supposedly swampy land.
