Interesting Things on MNDOT Cameras

Postby Shawn » May 12th, 2013, 9:44 am

Thought I would start this thread - I've used MNDOT cameras to watch manhole covers being blown off by a geyser during a huge rainstorm, to high speed chases and everything in between. We can embed still images (update when you refresh the page) on the site by:

Finding the MNDOT Camera here: http://www.dot.state.mn.us/tmc/traffici ... s_map.html
Right clicking the image and copying the Image URL
Pasting the image URL between the [ i m g ] tags [ / i m g ]

For example:
Live view of I-94 @ Hennepin & Lyndale

Live view of I-94 @ Tunnel East #3

Feel free to use this thread to post links to interesting events happening within sight of MNDOT Cameras.

I kind of wish they'd have higher resolution images though, or eve live streaming. This isn't the 1990s.

Yeah. Side streets were nasty, going from south to northeast via downtown was nasty.
