I wonder if they're now excluding the shared downtown stations from the reports: I can't imagine that transfers at DTE and boardings / alightings at Nicollet Mall would be fewer than boardings / alightings at East Bank. Since a downtown station wasn't listed as highest for *either* line, my guess is that they're excluding downtown's shared stations and reporting them separately.

Any chance they could run Blue Line/MOA specials out of Stadium Village after a game? They could just reverse directions between 11th Ave and the wye. Maybe they could start the run with an operator at each end, and then the extra op could detrain at Cedar Riverside to get back to the shop.
Seems that would be a operational headache for them - but I'm sure it could be done.

Good luck on getting out with a standing load.

Just go backwards from Stadium Village all the way to the wye, then you'll be going forwards.

Realistically, are there any cameras pointing out the front of the cab? How much of the front of the cab can you see from the opposite cab of the train?

I'm guessing there are Federal regulations that make that not an option.
Plus there aren't cameras that the driver could use from the other cab to drive backwards to the wye, even if that was an option.

Does anybody know if they considered building a siding track by TCF to queue up trains for a post-game rush? Seems like with the ballasted track through this stretch, it could have been done on the cheap.

On that note, it also seems like the trains could move faster through that stretch (east of SV Station). What gives?

I saw them filming for that on September 15th. Actually, I'm in the video at 0:25, talking on the phone on the left.

How Minneapolis got transit right on a line mostly not in Minneapolis. Oh our Twin City conundrum.

Well they also have a train coming into east bank station and the caption says "A green line train arrives in St Paul"

The distinction between MPLS and St Paul is barely discernible to outsiders.

Also the last picture has a caption that reads something like: green line train rolls into st Paul. And isa picture of the train on Washington on campus.

I just e-mailed them about it. A little civic pride never hurt anyone.

LRT service between the two terminals is free and doesn't require a ticket, so I'm guessing those riders aren't counted.

Oops. Sorry, that conversation ended on the last page. The mobile version, at least on my phone, doesn't show page numbers when inside a thread.
