There is a website up for this. No real info on the site other than opening 2017. Be nice if they had a webcam.

Luxurious finishes and amenities throughout, they are geared toward those that recognize coffee is an art form, the importance of never wasting a summer day, and that live-work-play is more than just a catchphrase.

Future apartment names aplenty.

Hopefully the construction crews' abilities in regard to "parallel structure" are better than those of the marketing department.

Based on what I'm seeing, I assume this second photo is the "tower?"

Oh wow. That's moving faster than I expected. Precast columns help, but those foundation walls look poured-in-place. I'm excited for this. 1st is such a wasteland through that area. Every little bit will help (a little bit).

This thing is going up pretty fast! you can already tell how much nicer it's going to be not to have a gaping hole there anymore.

Thanks a lot for finding that cam. When I take that way at rush hour to get a peek at the construction, that area gets pretty locked up now with cars. And then add in the US Bank tower construction pretty soon.

Wide one-way streets are really awful at moving traffic, unless stoplights are spaced half mile or more. The street capacity is simultaneously overused (when you have 3+ lanes queuing at a red light) and underused (when you have open stretches encouraging 40 MPH traffic).

Totally agree. Does Mister.Shoes have a fantasy map where this STROAD is converted into a two way street? I don't know how they'd convert it with the way the Hennepin bridge is aligned.
