I read in F&C that they closed on their financing recently. Anyone been by to see if any dirt is turned?

I didn't have a chance to reply last night, but they do have equipment on site along with a construction trailer. The perimeter has already had a plastic barrier put up and construction is imminent.

Weird seeing a crane over there: the 1st floor is well underway with wood everywhere.

The project is topped out and they're now working on the exterior.

Ugliest building in the neighborhoid. Stands out like a sore thumb. I can't believe this design was ever approved

Oh good. I was concerned when I saw that we almost had an entire thread without someone complaining about how ugly they think the subject building is.

That's a tad belligerent for a Saturday morning, don't u think? What's wrong with the area or project that nobody likes it? Tell us more about that.

I actually rather like the finished look of this project. The color scheme is refined yet fresh to this neighborhood. I think they could have met the street a little better at the walkups. The exterior pictures on the website do not do the building justice.
