CoW rough plans for future phases; could be anywhere from 0-2 more towers:

Two more towers would make a nice string of towers on this side of the falls. I hope the coming recession. Doesn’t kill that.

I loved Steve Minn's version of that side of the river from a decade ago. I remember discussing it on Minnescraper. But I can't find any images online.

I'm definitely feeling the 3 towers though its almost like they're too spaced out.

I really hope they'd be three unique towers though, the currently approved tower is... Just alright. I'm not sure I like that white bread enough to make a sandwich out of it.

They're all likely to be massive block sized projects :/

I was kind of hoping after this Expo project, we may get something a bit more broken up?

That’s one of the biggest frustrations I have with a lot of recent projects. I understand the economics of it, but good urban design comes from variety at the ground level. These massive, single block developments with setbacks from the street and little retail are not progressing the city towards a better urban realm (and ultimately, I would argue, they probably represent lost profit for the developer, who could sell for more with buildings that do better at creating an interesting neighborhood).

Here’s hoping the CoW provides feedback along those lines.

The three tower option D would be great. Do you think the community would fight it like the did the condos? I think NE is ready to BOOM!

I think there would be some level of neighborhood resistance, like we saw with the Expo, but probably not the extremely expensive losing legal battle we saw (are seeing?) with 200 Central.

Also, a tower actually being under construction/built lessens the case for "another tower would ruin the neighborhood/historic district" in my mind, at least.

Actually, those are 3 towers per block, not 1 per block.

Doran has a number of webcams available on their corporate site. I can't figure out how to link directly to the Expo cams, but you can find them here: https://dorancompanies.com/cameras/

I cant help but think these three blocks had more potential than what the current construction and plan have. Its too bad really.

Yeah. I would have liked to see a tower on each block.
