You know what's going to attract that millenial from Seattle?

Train to Mankato.
Especially useful if they’re missing legal weed and need to get down to State for good ol’ binge drinking and consuming frightening quantities of drugs.

Good thing we already have it, I'm sure all of Seattle will move here in no time!

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of people not from here refer to us as "Minny"?

Can confirm that out-of-state students at the U say "Minny". Like following graduation, after moving back to whence they came (or elsewhere), they write "I'm going to be back in Minny this weekend" on social media.

"Minny" has been very widely used in the airline industry for decades, especially among Delta and former NWA employees. And with thousands of pilots and flight attendants living here word gets around.

Dunkin' Donuts has referred to St. Paul as "Eastern Minneapolis" in their press release about opening 24 stores in the metro area.

And local media outlets, particularly the Strib, rejoice. 'Mpls vs. St. Paul' is second only to 'City vs. Suburb' in terms of page views and comments.

I don't understand how there isn't a single MN city on this list.

According to this list on Wikipedia, the town with the highest median household income in Minnesota only gets around $95,000 annually -- around half the level of many cities on the BI list. Our income disparities may be high, but we can do better, apparently.

That's actually $95,000 per capita income, not median household income.
