StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
Re: Park Vista (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
The fonts are small and too similarly colored to the background, as well as becoming very distracting as they go over the varied colors in the facade of the building. They are also generic non eye catching fonts, in colors that don't add to the building in any way. Then there is the random floating Shamrock Logo that they didn't even bother to incorporate into the add, just cut and paste with no regard. It's little things, but a lot of people would see those as hard to interpret and just toss them, quite the investment on to be recycled paper to not make sure the viewer would stop to look at it for a second.

To pile on, I'll add that the image of the rendering was badly pixelated, which may have been hard to see from my upload.
Regardless, I hope that they release a new rendering soon.

My beef with it was that it was hard to read. Just seemed like poor color choices for the words. Also IMO, the "Coming Soon" should have some sort of expected open date.

Without knowing anything about the company or the project, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to think that if they can't even get a flyer right, what else could they screw up with this development? It screams cheep, which I'm assuming is not the message the developer wants to send.

Well, while not exciting...the Bridgewater seems like a pretty decent place, from the few units I have been in. I assume this will be at least as good as that.

Drove by today and they are starting to dig the hole.
Re: Park Vista (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
I was by today also and it looks like they are trying to get the basement levels dug before the ground freezes. The footprint is much bigger than I had expected from what I took to be the hole.Drove by today and they are starting to dig the hole.
Stonebridge Condos
Does anybody know anything about this?

The views are going to be 2nd to none on this project -- especially from the top floors! Overlooking Gold Medal Park, the St. Anthony Bridge, The Guthrie Theatre, with downtown and the MIssissippi River in the background......tough to beat! I'd live here if I could afford it...
Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
How many stories and what side if the river is it goin to be on
Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
Where did the old name, Park Vista, come from?

Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
The first questions: 12 and the downtown side of the River.
The second question: it overLOOKS the PARK (vista, park = Park Vista).....unless you were being sarcastic.

Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
I think the developer originally proposed this project in 2010, and called it "Park Vista" at that time. I like the new name better.
Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
Wasn't there originally a French sounding name to this project, even before the Park Vista naming? Like, The Montecondeux or something?
Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
Marmont? I think that was before Stanton owned the property.

But Montecondeux is good. You should trademark that.
Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
I just meant why did this have a seemingly official name and suddenly change. I had just figured Park Vista was it, so now I have to go return all of the buttons I made. The first questions: 12 and the downtown side of the River.
The second question: it overLOOKS the PARK (vista, park = Park Vista).....unless you were being sarcastic.

It couldn't hurt. No worse than Else Warehouse. But Montecondeux is good. You should trademark that.

I was totally going to comment referencing ElseWarehouse. Props!
Re: StoneBridge (2nd Street South & 11th Avenue South)
Do we (or even the developer) know what this is officially going to be? I thought I had read he had added some units...and that all along it was going to be 12 floors...recently I have read the original 166 units and 10 floors. Anyone have clarification?
