I like it. privacy. My boyfriend used to live in Stadium View, and it was really weird being able to look out the window at the corner directly into someone else's big living room windowAngled inner corners - interesting...

From the webcam, it looks like both mini cranes (all three, actually, now that I go back in time and look more closely at the townhouse portion in the background) have been packed up and are going away. The gap left in the south amenity deck is being filled in as I type.
Also, the brickwork has been coming along nicely. It's hard to tell from a bad webcam pic, but the gray on the north wing looks nice—and the windows might even be inset a little bit? Maybe? Hopefully! Depth? What's that?

The problem with being an introvert online is that no one knows you're just hanging out and listening.

If the windows are in full wythe brick then windows will be set back the width of the brick, plus an air space so they'll be setback +/- 4 1/2" without doing anything special/out of the ordinary.

I hope that's the case. Of all the things people get so worked up about w/r/t the design of all these new apartment buildings, the one that bothers me the most is the lack of depth, particularly around windows. Nothing makes a building look substantial more than the appearance (or illusion?) of thick walls.

They are a purple-grey like color. I'll take a picture on the way home. Also, the brickwork has been coming along nicely. It's hard to tell from a bad webcam pic, but the gray on the north wing looks nice

I'm a little disappointed to see that the coppery colored accent area is really just a dark red colored metal panel rather than a shiny metallic copper. That being said, the townhouses are looking amazing and that block feels very complete and nice looking.

The use of the double-hung windows on the townhouses looks out of place. The whole material palette throws me off.

Bummer that the "townhomes" are gonna wind up looking like a single small apartment building instead of actual nice rowhomes/condos, which makes sense since it is quite literally the former and not the latter.
Re: Maverick - 100 Hennepin Avenue S
I personally love the townhouses and totally think they look like modern row houses. They're one of my favorite new things going up in dt rn.

I agree with Nathan
Re: Maverick - 100 Hennepin Avenue S
Does anyone know if the townhouses on 1st Avenue will be rentals or for purchase?

Pretty much everything is a rental. If you want to buy new construction downtown, It's going to be a Shamrock development, they're the only ones doing condos right now.Does anyone know if the townhouses on 1st Avenue will be rentals or for purchase?

The floor plans are up. The town homes have 3 bedroom option in the 'Simone' and 'Billie'. Seem more family oriented than the apartment building, which is good for North Loop! Also cool that the next development (hopefully) is literally going to be across the street from these.
