Has it even been 3 months since it was approved?
Re: Rex 26 - 2601 Lyndale Ave S
I thought I heard that the project was going to start construction in the spring. I wouldn't assume that anything has changed. I walked by the lot the other day, and it still look just as dead as usual.

Quick update that all the houses that are planned to be cleared on this site are gone. Noticed this on my drive home from work this evening as it was remarkably brighter at the intersection while waiting on the traffic signal.

I was sipping my coffee and reading my paper at Common Roots last Sunday and noticed that as well. Funny how much more open it appears looking down the street now. Temporarily.
Re: Rex 26 - 2601 Lyndale Ave S
Update: they've been driving sheet piles here for a couple of weeks. It appears that, like other recent projects, the piles will be left in place and form the foundation walls for the underground parking levels.
Re: Rex 26 - 2601 Lyndale Ave S
I live about 5 blocks away and I can’t Believe how loud the pile drivers are even here at 24 and Pillsbury. We’re so used to these new 5 and 6 story stick buildings not having basements that you forget how disruptive it can be...
