New plans in motion for the former Dragon City Chow Mein lot on East Lake. Plans include a pair of 3 story, 12 unit apartment buildings and a renovation of the restaurant with a patio space outside.

Developer is Left Lane Ventures who have a strong track record in small scale infill around town.

Glad to see some news on this site, after years of silence after the initial 4/5-story full block proposal. And, at least initially, also happy to see they are rehabbing the existing building as well as adding housing. Thanks for the update!

Left Lane does very cool infill - I'm very excited about the apartments they're planning to wrap around the old Erte building at 13th and University NE if they ever manage to get the financing locked down.
