Re: St. Louis Park - General Topics
Interesting to see that there was once a connection between the Great Northern (present day BNSF Wayzata Subdivision) and the Minneapolis & St. Louis Morton Subdivision (now the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail) in the Minnetonka Mills area. I always assumed they were never connected, though I'm sure that connecting track existed over a century ago and who knows how long (or short) it lasted.

In this article about Kohl’s closing the Knollwood location, https://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/ ... sting.html and the site going up for sale…
It mentions the Cub Foods is the most trafficked location in the entire chain.
Huh!

That Kohl's seems to be dead and you can't even access the back entrance. The mall itself is busy overall. I shop at the Cub and it is great. It is the old Montgomery Wards and the aisles are big and it is not cramped. Overall that is a busy shopping area.Anondson wrote: March 25th, 2025, 8:35 am In this article about Kohl’s closing the Knollwood location, https://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/ ... sting.html and the site going up for sale…

I appreciate that the Cub parking lot smells like a coffee shop in Amsterdam regardless of the time of day when I go there to grab some groceries.
Foss Swim School does brisk business on the weekends too and it's great that it's there for my family.

Finance and Commerce has a wrap up on the current state of Saint Louis Park’s station area redevelopments. Plus a little more odds and ends.
